Detox Day 10

WOW I can’t believe that the 10 days are over. It went really fast and was pretty easy. I feel so much better than I did 10 days ago. I have more energy, I am sleeping better, I am not craving sweets. In fact I just went into the kitchen to look for something and looked at all I had in my kitchen and decided that I really didn’t need a snack. I just took a glass of water instead.
I have noticed my skin is clearer and brighter. I do not feel blotted in fact I feel lighter. I even lost 2 ponds, nice little bonus!
I am so glad I did this detox. It was exactly what I need to get myself eating better and feeling wonderful.

Day 4 went really well. I feel really good. I was a little tired but for the most part I had more energy then I had all week. I am a little worried about the next few days my food choices get really restricted but I think it will be fine. I did notice that I wasn’t hungry today. I had no cravings at all. My usual late afternoon sugar craving never happened. I didn’t once head to the kitchen to snack. I will admit that snacking and sugar cravings are my biggest problems. I hope this detox can cure the desire for both. I guess only time will tell.
Today menu
Breakfast – Green smoothie
Lunch -Crispy Chickpeas wih a tossed salad.
Dinner – Orange peppers stuffed with hummus.
Snacked on Kale Chips, apple and grapes
I hope tomorrow goes as smoothly as the the last few days have gone.

Detox Day 1
Today was the first day of my detox. It went really well. I got to eat amazing food and I feel good. 
For breakfast I had a yummy green smoothie with banana, strawberry and kale.
Lunch was a brown rice vegetable sushi roll and a BIG salad.
I snacked on some carrots and hummus as well as Kale chips.
Dinner was a tofu and veggie sir fry.
I can’t wait to see how I feel tomorrow.
Detox Starts Tomorrow
I hope everyone had a wonderful summer. If you had a summer anything like mine it was full of fun and some no sot good for you meals. But starting tomorrow I go back to
my usual healthy eating habits. The best way I know how to fix what I did over the summer is to detox. This will gently get back to eating whole unprocessed, unrefined real foods. It is also a great way to help you transition to a healthy more natural diet.
It is a 10 Metabolic detox and I will be posting every night to let you know how I am doing.

Low fat Crust-less Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients
2-1/2 cups Light Extra Firm Tofu
3/4 cup honey, rice syrup or agave nectar
1 Can Pumpkin Puree
3 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Pumpkin Pie Spice to taste
Place tofu into a food processor or blender and process until smooth
Add pumpkin, honey and vanilla and blend until smooth. Place in dessert dishes. Chill at least 4 hours or overnight. Serve well chilled to allow the flavors to blend fully.
